From December 14 to 28, 2023, and as part of the activities of the “Safe Access and Effective Response to Basic Needs and Protection of Affected Families in South Darfur” project—implemented in partnership with Berlee Foundation for Development and supported by Save the Children—Fikra Organization for Peace and Development carried out the distribution of food baskets to displaced families and citizens affected by the ongoing war in Sudan and tribal conflicts in the state.
The initiative targeted 30 families in two shelter centers in Ad Du’ayn locality, where they received essential food packages aimed at improving their living conditions.
These efforts come as part of the organization’s commitment to alleviating the impact of war on displaced populations and strengthening their resilience by providing essential needs and supporting their stability in shelter areas.
